Family friendly backyard accessories

During the summertime, many families spend the majority of their time outdoors. While many may travel to nearby parks or campgrounds, there are many others that make the decision to stay right in their own backyard carcheapinsuranceladys. org Those that regularly make the trip to nearby parks or campgrounds tend to wonder how their backyard can be fun. The reality is that there are a number of different ways that your backyard can be a fun and cheaper alternative to many public facilities. This is because there literally are an unlimited number of family friendly backyard activities to choose from; however, to participate in these activities you may need to purchase some additional accessories. To better prepare for your next backyard adventure, you are encouraged to familiarize yourself with these activities and the equipment that they may require. Outdoor sports are popular, family friendly activities. Outdoor sports are great for individuals of all ages, including young children, teens, and adults. What is nice about playing outdoor sports is that there are a wide variety of different games that you can choose from. Many popular games include softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, kickball, volleyball, and badminton. When it comes to purchasing equipment for outdoor sports, the equipment needed will all depend on which games you and your family will be playing. One of the most popular games to play outdoors is baseball or softball. With baseball or softball, you may find that your family already has the equipment that is needed to play. If you don’t, most gloves, bats, and balls can be purchased for an affordable price. While baseball and softball can be considered an affordable outdoor sport, not all can be. If you are interested in playing basketball or volleyball, you may need to purchase large pieces of equipment. Most volleyball nets and basketball hoops are fairly expensive to purchase. If money is not a factor, you should be able to purchase these items online or from most department stores or sports stores. In addition to outdoor sports games, many families enjoy cooling off with water. If this seems like something your family would enjoy, you may want to consider purchasing a swimming pool, if you don’t already have one. When it comes to purchasing swimming pools, most are a fairly large purchase. If in-ground pools or traditional aboveground pools are too expensive, you may be able to find a cheaper alternative. In recent years, large inflatable swimming pools have been developed. In a way, these pools are similar to kiddie pools, but they can have water depths as high as three or four feet. If you have enough backyard space for one of these pools, they are a great and reasonably priced way to go for a swim. The above mentioned equipment and accessories are important, but they are not the only things that you may want to purchase for your next backyard adventure. While outside, whether it be swimming or playing a game of baseball, you and your family may want a drink or a snack. Instead of running back into your house, you may want to think about brining these items outside with you. With a small cooler, you can easily store your perishable snacks and drinks. By keeping plenty of drinks and snacks on hand, your family should be able to take quick outside break without having their fun interrupted.

Ebooks meeting the demand

Do you have a hobby? Have you learned how to master a particular program or video game? Can you put together a step-by-step guide to help others gain similar understanding of the process? If you answered yes to any of the above questions you might have the beginnings of a home-based business. People are consistently looking for ways to make money using a variety of software products or through an understanding of online auction houses. Dozens of ebooks have been developed to attempt to address a variety of topics that have found a connection with online consumers. Perhaps the success of ebooks as a home-based business has to do with the immediacy of information acquisition or possibly the low cost associated with ebook downloads. Maybe the success is linked to the portability of the product through hand-held PC devices or it might simply be the desire for new information. Traditional publishing houses might never consider publishing a book on subjects like online safety specifically at Christmas time or how to breed tropical fish, but these subjects are addressed in ebook form and they have sold very well. A traditional publisher can take up to a year or more to get your book to market while a completed ebook can be ready to go in a matter of minutes in some cases. Today’s online consumer is used to locating information that answers their questions immediately. If they can locate it online at a cost that is less than a bookstore and without the hassle of trying to get to the bookstore in hopes that they actually have what they want, then you become the hero of the day when you provide an ebook on the subject they are looking for. Many ebook authors have utilized a multi-pronged approach to distribution. Some sell product exclusively on their website, but many have also (or in lieu of) used an ebook reseller to push their product onto the larger stage of mass consumption. However, when a home-based business owner determines to make their ebook available the end result is a long-term revenue stream in residual income through payments for downloads of the ebook. The concept is similar to traditional book publishing, but leaves the control of the book in the hands of the owner of the work. You’ll notice I say ‘owner’ because increasingly freelance writers are being used to develop the idea with ownership remanded to the one requesting the material. Ebooks are a growing product of consumer demand. How are you meeting the demand?

The fault line in paid surveys

We’ve all seen the PPC advertisements or the banner ads – GET PAID TO TAKE SURVEYS. What’s not to love about the idea of telling someone your opinion and getting paid for it? It’s sort of like talk radio and you get to be the host. Say what you want and be rewarded for it? When was the last time that happened? The truth of most matters falls somewhere between the overblown hype and the worst story you’ve heard. You CAN earn money by taking surveys. After all, the individuals looking for survey participants need warm bodies to fill out the surveys so, if they can handle the process online it saves time and money for their company. Many people will fill out the profile and then wait for an incoming survey that will help them manage a few extra purchases for their family, but the surveys don’t seem to be coming in. The profile is checked and it seems to be in order, so why aren’t the survey offers being dropped like pennies from heaven? The answer may be as simple as not fitting the profile the company is looking for. For example let’s say the survey company is looking for a female in her thirties, middle income, and Latino. On your survey you might be listed as a male in his late forties, middle income and African American. You don’t fit the profile they have put together for their survey needs so the paid survey does not come to you. The truth is in the middle. Yes, there are paid surveys and yes some people are making money, but there are also many who have never been offered the opportunity to fill out a paid survey. What may be most frustrating for many would be paid survey users is the variety of sites that will provide information on paid survey companies for a fee. You do NOT have to (nor should you) pay anyone for information on paid surveys. A company that wants to charge you should be avoided. Virtually every paid survey company has their information online and without fee. Essentially all you get for a membership in a site that provides details on paid surveys is a little extra convenience. These companies may the listing all in one place so it has the benefit of saving some time, but once again these sites are not needed if you choose to look for paid surveys to fill out. Do some research on your own. You will likely find survey sites that may be especially appealing and others that are not. Keep your profile current and then go do something else. I’m serious. Don’t spend your time checking and rechecking to see if you have a survey to fill out. This mentality only robs you of time you could be spending on other personal or professional pursuits. Paid surveys may come your direction, but continue to live life as if they aren’t. That way there can be genuine surprise when something finds its way to your inbox.

Turn your employees into customer service dynamos

Businesses have been trying for decades to import good service practices and graft them into their own work settings. They use training programs or other means to try and "regimentalize" key service behaviors-an outside-in approach that seldom makes things any better, and often only makes things worse. Truly customer-focused businesses deliver outstanding service from the inside out. The key is to get employees coming up with their own ideas for delighting customers, and then letting positive feedback from happy customers motivate the workers to continue implementing more of their own innovative service strategies. This is the Flashpoint Effect, where employee motivation and customer satisfaction fuel each other in a chain reaction of contagious enthusiasm. Easier said than done, of course - unless the organization has an actual process in place to keep the chain reaction bubbling. Such a process does not have to be complicated. Follow these three guiding principles to help your employees generate their own ideas for improving the customer experience, and watch how quickly these service enhancements give your business a powerful competitive edge. First Customer Focus Principle: Exceed the customer’s expectations every step of the way. Shoppers at Ireland’s Superquinn supermarkets experience the wow-factor at every turn. When they first arrive, they encounter a supervised play area for young children. In the aisles they encounter a multitude of signs encouraging them to report "goofs" (such as fruit that has over-ripened), in return for which they’re given free lottery cards. They discover bags of free vegetables they can bring home for their pets ("Make Your Hoppy Happy"). At checkout the store provides umbrellas to keep shoppers dry while they watch attendants transfer their grocery bags from cart to car. Set up a brainstorming session in which your employees break a typical customer transaction down into its individual steps, and then challenge the group to focus on each step one at a time, and to uncover ways to add a wow-factor element of delight in each step. They’ll probably come up with more ideas than you can implement, but afterwards let them choose the best ones, and help them implement these ideas successfully. Second Customer Focus Principle: Make the customer feel important. It’s just common sense, right? Maybe - but it’s certainly not common practice. Ever see the sign that says In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash? Or the cartoon of the four little men rolling on the floor with laughter, over the caption You Want It When? Everywhere you look, you see businesses making it painfully obvious that they consider their customers unreasonable intruders, potential criminals, annoying interruptions of the "real work" the business is trying to get done. In your employee brainstorming session, get the group thinking about ways to make customers feel welcome and appreciated in each step of the transaction. The ideas that emerge often cost nothing to implement (like smiling more, or addressing customers by name), and yet these are the little things that can make such a big difference from the customers’ point of view. Third Customer Focus Principle: Tailor the experience to fit the customer. Where one supermarket invests in metal barricades to prevent the theft of shopping carts, its customer-focused competitor chooses instead to invest in carts that are even more appealing. Mothers with infants can use carts outfitted with a baby seat. Shoppers with older children can use a cart designed like a toy car, so the kids can pretend they’re driving while the parent proceeds along the aisles. There are even self-powered sit-down carts for the elderly and the disabled. Flashpoint businesses recognize they deal with different categories of customers, and each category can have unique expectations. These businesses abandon the one-size-fits-all mentality, and look for ways to provide something special for each major customer category. Invite your brainstorming employees to list the major customer categories in your business, and to come up with ways to wow each category individually. These are often the kinds of “personal touch” ideas that deliver the biggest impact. Even customers from different categories will be impressed with the efforts your business is making to improve the overall customer experience. Try applying these three principles in a brainstorming session with your own employees, and discover for yourself how creating a customer service culture from the inside out really can be as easy as one-two-three. Video streaming reaching out to the on demand customer

YouTube and MeTV understand that people want a creative way to express themselves. The anonymity provided by the web has allowed multiple thousands of wannabe stars to shine in low-resolution splendor. The success of these online video enterprises has encouraged others like Yahoo, AOL and a variety of other media outlets to begin streaming video for online consumption. Even children’s television is finding ways to allow kids to utilize online video streaming to participate in traditional television broadcasts through MeTV. Television shows are now being released as video streaming downloads because the public is interested in video content. Sure, there are uses for educational and knowledge based video streaming, but what about a lighthearted parody of your business? Some businesses use these video parodies for annual company meetings or they have their staff reenact a portion of a well-known movie. While it may have originally been a fun part of a company meeting this information can be made available as part of a video streaming download allowing multiplied thousands of visitors to gain an appreciation for the humanness of the individuals running the business. There are times when a good marketing campaign simply means allowing customers to see that you are not opposed to enjoying life. Video streaming is a concept that is sprinkled throughout social websites like MySpace. If your video stream is entertaining you might consider making it available on a site like YouTube. In turn, you may discover that many individuals that frequent social networks may pick your video stream to feature on their website. This scenario simply allows your work to be scattered in a variety of circles. In the end it could mean more site visitors and search engine queries. The growth of video streaming is in response to the on demand needs of web users who have grown accustomed to having what they want at their fingertips. Forbes has created an online presence that features extensive company produced news clips and other online video streaming. This component has become a big part of Forbes. You will find many more sites are relying on the marketing of their own online “network”. If video streaming didn’t have a positive marketing kick for these companies it wouldn’t be used, but more and more sites are making video streaming a key player in their online marketing strategies. Whether your content is serious or hilarious, video streaming makes it possible to reach out to a media savvy audience and engaging them in a new way.

Telling apart the fakes from the real search engine optimization expert

So you found a company that claims to be a Search Engine Optimization Expert, but you are not sure if they really are the Search Engine Optimization Expert they say they are. So how can you weed out the fakes and the incompetents from one who is a real Search Engine. Optimization Expert? A Search Engine Optimization Expert is one who understands that SEO has two functions: The Search Engine Optimization Expert has to foresee what the customers or potential visitors to your website would like to see as content of your website; and the Search Engine Optimization Expert also has to work within the constraints set by the preferred search engines. Your Search Engine Optimization Expert should be able to identify the special keywords that are most likely to be used by your end users, readers or visitors. Some SEO teams will provide you with hundreds of keywords to use in your website content, but that is not effective or efficient because many of those target words and phrases may not be used by many people. Effective marketing by your Search Engine Optimization Expert means narrowing down the search process for your target visitors to a select list of keywords and key phrases that are very popular among the Internet population. Your Search Engine Optimization Expert should also know that basic keyword research still contributes a lot to effective SEO efforts. This means prioritizing quality hits from quality visitors over just hiking the number of hits you get from the world at large. This is because a real Search Engine Optimization Expert knows that you are after revenues so that your business can not only survive but thrive, rather than just being a popular site for people to glance through. Even if you are the most-visited site on the Internet, if that doesn't translate to revenues for you, then hiring a Search Engine Optimization Expert becomes a useless effort. Something that is not commonly known except by an actual Search Engine Optimization Expert is that text is not the sole content being eyed by search engines when ranking websites anymore. Nowadays, your Search Engine Optimization Expert should understand that content like news articles, videos and images are also part of the content which are scrutinized by search engines and contribute to your rankings. So a so-called Search Engine Optimization Expert who insists on text-only content has clearly missed the bus so you need to look elsewhere for a better Search Engine Optimization Expert to consult and hire. Does your Search Engine Optimization Expert know how to use online press releases? Online press releases can be used by your Search Engine Optimization Expert by submitting them to formats like RSS feeds and news sites – and yes, even search engines. Online press releases (in the hands of a competent Search Engine Optimization Expert) can prove to be an effective way for link building to be conducted. But your online press releases should not concentrate on promoting your company name. If your Search Engine Optimization Expert doesn't know that, tell him to focus instead on providing information and news articles that act as a supplemental service to the Internet community. The Search Engine Optimization Expert should create this type of content from the perspective of the reader, audience or end user. Online press releases are best sent out to target channels at least two times per month. Online press releases are also a good way to integrate target words and phrases into the content so that your Search Engine Optimization Expert is hitting two birds with one stone: keyword usage and promotion of the website. Your Search Engine Optimization Expert must focus on certain areas in the SEO effort that will make it more effective. Very popular keywords must be placed in the title tag, with less priority on the company name. Your website URL should be as short as possible, yet very concise with use of information. Adding a keyword or two to the URL is also a good idea. User-friendly content that has been written by master writers is great and always a good addition to the website. Prioritize quality links over mass link building. And have your Search Engine Optimization Expert place a site map on your website for the convenience of your visitors so they don't get lost. If you find outsourcing work to a Search Engine Optimization Expert to be rather costly, consider hiring an in-house Search Engine Optimization Expert instead. This may drive down your expenses by a lot, and also gives you more control over what your Search Engine Optimization Expert is doing for you. You might opt for a multidisciplinary Search Engine Optimization Expert team that has IT and Marketing expertise for best results.

Search engine methodology

Search engine optimisation is one of the most powerful methods of getting your name and your business out to the world, but what is the best way to do that? No one's going to argue with the fact that putting your link at the top of a list of natural search results is a great way to get noticed, but no one really agrees on how to get it there. There are plenty of techniques, from directories to glossaries to article archives, but when it comes right down to it, you need a strategy, and a search engine consultant is the best person to help you find one. Search engines are now more sophisticated than ever, and they use a wide range of techniques to figure out which sites are the most relevant to what the searcher is looking for. Everything from keyword density to the reputation of the site is used, and keeping track of these factors can be tough. When you are first putting your business online, especially if you've never had to maintain a web presence before, it can be difficult to keep track of everything you need to do. A search engine consultant can give you the information you need in order to put your site at the top of its rankings. Their business is to know what makes a site attractive or unattractive to the search engines, and to figure out how to put your site squarely in the former category. A search engine consultant can help you network; someone who is versed in search engine optimisation will often be able to offer you experience with your specific industry, whether that's health and beauty or pet supplies. A search engine consultant can tell you where to put your information, what you can do to improve your keyword usage and how to make sense of things like keyword density and topicality. When you are looking for a search engine consultant, remember that recommendation by word of mouth is usually the best way to go about it. Make sure that the professional you choose has a lot of experience working with different sites and read any testimonials or reviews of his or her work that you can find. Finding someone who has been in this field for a certain span of time is also beneficial. Some search engine optimisation specialists have worked with Yahoo or Google themselves, or have accreditation from those companies. Remember that a search engine optimisation consultant will be affecting the way you present your business to the world, so make sure he is someone you are happy to work with. A search engine consultant can help your site get the traffic it needs, so take advantage of their experience and knowledge to improve your operation!

Web hosting basics

If you have decided you or your company is in need of a website, you will have to purchase web hosting services from a hosting company. There are many different web-hosting companies to choose from, and they can easily be found on the internet. If you do a quick search for them in any search engine, you will find that there are almost too many to count. Choosing the company that is right for you can be a harrowing experience, but there are really only a few basic things to consider. The first factor to consider when choosing a web hosting company is how much space they will give you for your account. If you merely want a single page on the Internet with little or no graphics, you can get by with purchasing an account with the smallest amount of space available. However, if you are planning to create a full e-commerce site with multiple pages and order forms, you will need to make sure you have enough server space to support your entire operation. Before you sign your web-hosting contract, you will first have to choose and purchase a domain name. Though many of the names you might want are already taken, you can often find one that suits your needs, especially if you get creative with it. For instance, if your business is called Cards For You and that domain name is already taken, you might consider choosing More Cards For You or Cards For You Today. The possibilities are endless, and with a little thought you will be able to think of a snappy domain name. You can often purchase a domain name through your web hosting company, or you can purchase it through a private domain name retailer. These companies are very easy to find. Often times, if you type the domain name you want into a search engine, a domain name seller will pop up if the name is not already taken. You can purchase a domain name for a year at a time, or for several years, depending on how much you want to invest at the get-go. Once you have a domain name, you will of course have to create a website to put on the Internet. There are many do-it-yourself web design programs that are fairly user friendly. Software like FrontPage makes web design a cut and paste, fill in the blank soft of affair. However, if you would like a more professional look, you can use programs like Dreamweaver or Image Ready to make your sites. There are always freelance web designers looking for work who are ready to take on your cause if you are not savvy enough to do it yourself. Web hosting companies give passwords to allow you access your space on their servers. You can upload files and pages using their own interface programs, or you can utilize the upload tools built in to your web design program. Once you upload a page, it is important to make sure it looks correct on a variety of different web browsers. Because each browser interprets information differently, you may run into trouble if you build a site while only previewing it in Internet Explorer. There are often compatibility issues between Safari and Mozilla browsers that distort site tables and images. However, once you work out the kinks and create an excellent site, all you have to do is pay your web hosting bills, and your site will be available for the whole world to see. Web hosting companies usually offer options regarding payment plans. You can pay for a year at a time, or you can monthly or quarterly to maintain your place on the World Wide Web.

Having a home based business makes but it makes sense

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Uncle Sam wants YOU"? Sure you have. I'll bet however that you've never heard it expressed this way… Uncle Sam wants you to succeed…or how about this…Uncle Sam loves you and wants to put money in your pocket? Think I'm crazy? Let me explain. If you are a home-based business owner, your very own United States Government loves what you are trying to do and wants to help. That's right. Home-based businesses contribute in a big way to the health of our economy. In fact, small businesses are the proverbial backbone of our economy. The financial growth and prosperity of our nation can be traced back to the growth and roots of small business. Because of this, Congress and state legislatures desire to help the growing millions of Americans who own home businesses to succeed with generous tax breaks and other ways to subsidize their home based businesses. Going on the assumption that you are either now a home business owner or you are considering the possibility, the government loves you and wants to put money in your pocket. One of the biggest advantages of running your own home business is the tax advantages the government has put in place for you. Consider this… Let's say you were in the market to expand the size of your home. Based on your budget, you know you can afford a home that will cost you about $1,500 per month. Since you are a home business entrepreneur, you can add to what you are going to pay for office space, say $500 per month, to what you can afford to pay for a home. Since you have your office in your home, you can allocate that money to expand what you could otherwise afford and get a larger home for you and your family and to accommodate your home business. Putting that money into your mortgage is a lot better than throwing it away paying a lease for office space. Not to mention, a very healthy tax deduction is in order for you because your business is based out of your home. Additionally, a percentage of the expenses it takes to run the home are tax advantages for you too like mortgage interest, insurance, taxes, utilities and more! Such deductions is like putting money in your pocket quarter after quarter after quarter. In effect, the IRS is helping you purchase your new home. Having a home-based business truly can be one of the best things you can do for you and your family. Here's another thought to consider… Do you realize that you can break even or even show a LOSS in your business and still make thousands of dollars in the process? It's all thanks to being a home entrepreneur. You may wonder how is this possible? It's all a result of tax savings. Owning and running a home based business is one of the greatest and ever shrinking tax advantage shelters that American citizens have left. Aside from the tax savings and advantages, owning your own business is your chance to say goodbye to potential caps to your salary, downsizing and the like. If you position yourself correctly, there's no limit to what you can earn. The sky is truly the limit. Plus, the control of your own time is something that's hard to put a value on. After all, you're the BOSS! Naturally, you can start part-time like many people do or you can jump in head first and go full time from the get go. Be sure you have the wherewithal to take that leap though because as with any business there can be growing pains in the beginning. When you take into account the lucrative tax benefits and savings along with the many benefits of being business for yourself, it's easy to see why a home-based enterprise is so appealing to millions of Americans. How does all of this work exactly? That's a good question. One to specifically ask your accountant or tax advisor. What I can tell you is that there are numerous ways for home business owners to convert everyday expenses into tax deductions. Do you like to take vacations? As a home business owner, you may be able to deduct all or part of your vacation expenses if you can give your vacation a valid business purpose. For those of you starting part-time while still working your current job, you can reduce your personal taxes on your income by offsetting your income with any loss you show in your business. How great is that?!? Finally… For this all to really mean anything to you as a home business owner or someone who is considering it, you want to make sure the IRS sees your enterprise as a real business and not just a hobby for you. Factors, such as your expertise, how you operate your business, the time and effort you put into it and so on determine whether your business is really a business or just a hobby. If your enterprise is truly a business, you can tap into a gold mine of tax benefits. Uncle Sam wants your business or potential business to be successful. It simply makes good sense to get one up and running ASAP! If you already have one, hopefully now you are more aware of the tremendous benefits out there for you to take advantage of. Despite the many mentioned here, there are more! Ask your account or tax preparer to help you make the most of your home business.

Web video propels search engine rankings

I first got the phone call a month or so ago. I was knee deep in web site marketing projects and was actually jammed to capacity. I was looking to finish up all of my small jobs so I could move forward and do some more challenging assignments. Plus I was in the middle of releasing some top notch online hybrid techniques that I was about to figure out on my own. This has become somewhat of a hobby of mine if not an obsession. This phone call was different from the ones that usually come into my office. As I learned more about my prospect on the other end of the phone I became somewhat intrigued. WORKING ABROAD IN MY LIVING ROOM The project that fell on my desk was for an online campaign for the Philippines. I have no idea about anything that pertains to Philippine culture but this didn’t stop me from getting involved. I was fascinated with the challenge of getting involved with this amazing project. You see, this customer was none other than the famous David Newby, Best Selling Author to, “Why Didn’t Anyone Teach Me This?”. Newby is well known for his financial strategies that he teaches here in the states and abroad. I was eager to get started and got so wound up in the conversation that I didn’t clarify the details. You see, I thought we had over a month to get this thing launched properly. Pleasantries were exchanged and money changed hands and my new customer was zooming off in his candy apple red Lamborghini ………..it turns out I was wrong. I had 4 days to pull off the impossible. I had exactly under 4 working days to get my client, David Newby, listed and ranked highly on Google and Yahoo. That is not a whole lot of time. You see, we had decided not to bother putting up any pay per click campaigns up for our efforts. We didn’t even want to put any sponsored links up. We were going to play a straight game of organic search engine rankings and do it very quickly. That meant that I had to get his pages at the top of Google without paying a dime. Could it be done? Could we actually get our pages included into the Google directory index and have our pages rank at the very top? I knew that If I could actually get Newby in the top ten just once I had done my job. If I was able to get him listed just one time for every keyword set he had designed I would have been pleased. I had my work cut out for me. This meant that I had to get on the move. The more I sat around pondering the less time I had to make history happen. BEYOND ORDINARY SEO, (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION) The one thing we did that catapulted our results into another stratosphere was digital video. This wasn’t just your ordinary web video. We shot the video using a HD camera with high resolution and a green screen effect. Basically we used a simple chroma key effect and completely took out the background and made it all white. The effect was flawless but that is not what got us high rankings. We took that simple video and translated it for the search engines. The video search engines that is. Only 10% of all web traffic comes from the search engines. That is actually pretty shocking when you consider the significance of it all. So where does the other 90% come from? The traffic comes from a variety of sources and these are: 1. Video Search Engines 2. Podcast Search Engines 3. Blog Search Engines 4. Social Networks 5. Publicity Sites These are all in addition to the regular search engines. The magic of using all of these incredible elements is that they literally propel your rankings to the top – not once, not twice but multiple times. In fact, we were able to get to the top ten 8 out of 10 times in just about every category we picked. That is substantial. We did some incredible things with our rankings. We definitely got the word out about our seminar and info related products. Now here is the one thing you may have never expected. We were able to get these top rankings in just four hours. That’s right. Four hours. It took a little pushing and prodding but we were able to get our message out there to the masses in just a few hours. Web video is definitely an attention getter. Not only were we able to get our messages into the niche categories but also into the top of Google. This was accomplished without so much as paying a dime to Google for pay-per-click or any sponsored listings. This is substantial. Imagine being able to knock out the high cost of pay per click and still being able to dominate the top of the search engines. That is something that is worth celebrating about. I found myself looking for alternative ideas to PPC after my clients kept complaining about high rising costs to market online. This constant rise of client dissatisfaction pushed me into finding new ways to getting top rankings with moderate fees. In doing so I was able to get away from the expected ways of online popularity. USING THE NEW TYPES OF SEARCH ENGINES The best way to get good at this type of marketing is to try out new services and live by doing. It is one thing to think about it but taking action is the greatest short cut to great results. Not every industry responds the same way. When I created my first online radio show, (podcast) I noticed immediately that I was not a big hit in the Midwest. However my ratings picked up pretty heavy in California and New York City and ironically that is where all of my business is coming from. When we were hitting 8 out of 10 of the top ten listings on Google we noticed these listings came from a variety of sources. Some of them were from video listings, some came from podcasting sites, some came from social networks and others came from blogs. But the kicker came in a few weeks. Since web 2.0 services like YouTube and Google Video automatically creates HTML code it makes life very convenient. This means that visitors can copy and paste into their own web pages or blogs. And that is exactly what happened. Our videos started to pop up on services that we didn’t set up. Our clips started to pop up on video search engines that we never heard of. Someone had seen our clips and liked what they saw and posted them on other services. That means we got our material distributed for free. This had a huge affect on our search engine rankings. This sent us to the very top on Google and Yahoo. I might also add that the other web site services jumped on board and put us up on high rank visibility as well. These other search engines often use the same technology. Ask Jeeves, Dogpile and many others borrow the same search engine technology to fuel their services. The moral of the story? By using the new modern tools you can literally write your own ticket.

Choosing perfect bike

As people grow up they start having wonderful fantasies and these are developed as a result of others showing them. Most of the younger generation would love to own bikes which could be sped with. But while choosing your favorite, there should various things that have to be considered and taken into account. While shopping for the first bike the most important thing to consider is the price range and your budget. There are wonderful motorcycles which cost a lot for you and look really handsome and stylish. There are premium varieties of bikes such as Ducati and even Harley-Davidsons which could be over expensive. But these are the motorcycles chosen by most of the teenagers due to its fame and popularity. These are those bikes which could be just dreamt by the ordinary people. If you are going to ride it for the first time then these models are not for you. As for experimenting bike riding, it is always advised to start off with the modest models. These are recommended for experts as they have wonderful experience in bike riding. For those entire debuting bike riders, the best choice would be to choose used bikes which are available easily at affordable prices. This is because it is the best way to become expert and own fascinating models sooner. The used bikes will be having the same power as the new ones and due to this reason it becomes easier and safer to learn in these bikes for the beginners. It is also not much good for the experienced riders to humiliate the new riders on fancy bikes. It is always cooler to ride faster on a slow bike rather than to ride slowly on fast bike. The most dangerous bike for all those new comers is the sports bikes which could really put the debuts in real trouble even risking their lives. This is because the sports bikes are light weight and even have horsepower and this helps in faster pace even top speeds. Many of the youngsters prefer to own a 1000 cc super bike but it is not recommended for the starters and is highly advised due to its great risks. The hospitals and cemeteries had got various clients who had tried out the 160 horsepower liter bike. It is highly recommended to undergo a training class before trying any kinds of bike. The perfect choice would be to join classes offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Apart from providing training they also let you to use small motorcycles as part of it. Whatever be your choice of bike ranging from a fancy bike to touring bike to sport bike to a cruiser to a standard style bike, all that is to be taken care is to get the bike that you feel very comfortable. After taken the right decision the next step is to go out for shopping. While shopping, sit on the bike with the kick start stand down and check whether feet touches the ground and if not then it would be better to choose a lower seat bike. Hence, following these steps in bike shopping would let you choose the perfect one for you.

Becoming affiliated with clickbank friends

There are an endless number of advantages to becoming a Clickbank affiliate and the potential for a greater share of the internet marketing pie is virtually unlimited. Clickbank is generally considered to be the most popular vending resource for internet marketers who create informational products for a wide range of topics including computer training, health issues, finances, self improvement, and a countless array of subjects that span the entire spectrum of human innovation. Clickbank categorizes the many subjects and topics into a highly organized database that is user friendly and easy to search. Each affiliate has the option of selecting a particular member’s product and marketing it to a chosen segment of the internet community. First, establishing a presence with a Clickbank account is necessary. Signing up for an account takes little time and once this step is completed, you can begin the process of choosing a niche and product to market. The greatest advantage of having an account is the freedom to pick any topic, market the item, pocket the profits, and spend very little time with preparation and research. Three years ago, Carolyn Cotton became an affiliate at the suggestion of a friend. “After four years of college and one year as a legal assistant, I was making good money, but wanted a little more. Working around rich lawyers and their fancy cars made me want something extra. I didn’t want to spend several years in school again and a friend suggested being a Clickbank affiliate on the web.” Carolyn and many affiliates have come to realize the power of this service and are able to carve an online business from the efforts of other web site owners. After signing up and becoming a member, choosing a Clickbank product is the next step. Selecting a marketing and optimization plan to complement the product is the remaining step, and as a result, the affiliate has circumvented the entire process of creating an item to sell, Cotton describes her progress from being a novice to becoming an expert. “The first few products that I marketed did well, but not enough to quit my job. By the second year, I was making more than my job. Recently, I resigned from the law practice and now I make more in day than I did in one week. I have a paycheck that my friends envy and so much more free time to do other things”. The overwhelming popularity of Clickbank among the internet marketing community has created an atmosphere for enterprising affiliates who take the initiative to pursue their own business plan. Being a successful Clickbank affiliate can be rewarding for the progressive marketer who is willing to put some time and effort toward a unique marketing plan. The luxury of spending no time on research, planning, and preparing a product is a definite advantage and lends more time to marketing and list building strategies. These incentives make a Clickbank marketing option an attractive plan for any affiliate.

Web hosting companies is one the best

With all of the web hosting companies available it is difficult to know if on company is better than another. and to make matters worse, most of the review sites seem to be driven more by who pays the highest commission rather than who actually does the best job for you or your business. Helpful hints for starting a home based business

If you’re planning on starting a home based business, this is the article for you! Try these techniques that have helped countless others on their paths to entrepreneurial freedom and reap the rewards of being your own boss! Starting a Home Based Business? Exercise! Believe it or not, one of the best ways to ensure that you begin on the right foot when starting a home based business is to make certain that you’re physically and mentally in shape. By paying attention to both your body (through exercise) and your energy level (through nutrition), you’ll be able to tackle 12-hour days and plough through the set-up phase of your company. Starting a Home Based Business? Prioritize! If everything on your plate is of equal importance, you’ll never be able to get it all accomplished while starting a home based business. Instead, start two lists – one “daily to do list” and one “long term to do list.” Update your lists frequently and add a number from 1-10 next to each item, 10 being the most important and 1 being the least. By turning your tasks into numbered and organized priorities, you’ll be able to find the time to do everything that absolutely must be finished each day, week, and month. Starting a Home Based Business? Organize! Is your residence a cluttered mess? Then starting a home based business will be incredibly challenging, as you’ll have trouble pinpointing where all your paperwork is. To combat a messy office space, devote one section of your living area to starting a home based business and keep all important documents, equipment, et cetera, in that location. Through such determined organization, you’ll have less moments where you say, “Now, where did I put that?” Starting a Home Based Business? Persist! Virtually no home based business becomes a success overnight. So if you aren’t seeing immediate results, don’t give up! Persistence will be a key factor when starting a home based business, as you’ll experience plenty of ups and downs during your journey. If you can plan for these rocky points (and have a supportive circle of friends and family to cheer you on), you’ll be able to learn from your mistakes and move on with poise. Starting a Home Based Business? Be Passionate! Finally, when starting a home based business, have passion for the product or service you’ll be introducing to the public. Without such a love, it will be too difficult for you to continue when the chips are down. If you don’t have an interest in what you’re selling, you may be starting a home based business in the wrong arena. But don’t be discouraged if that’s the case! There are tons of home based business opportunities on the market, and they’re just waiting for you to snatch them up and turn them into gold!

How to benefit the most from your business opportunity

The Internet is home of the business opportunity ad. Though several are not legit, others do have the possibility of meshing you a pretty penny. Once you have found such an opportunity, it is important that you make the most of it - but to do so intelligently, you will need to examine a few tips and tricks that will not only benefit you to make money, but also save you from losing any of your hard earned cash in the process. As soon as you start out in pursuit of your business opportunity, you will need to manage your full time job and your additional pursuit. Although it might be alluring to throw concern to the wind, give up your job and pursue the opportunity full time, it is tremendously unwise to do so. You will still have bills, and if you have a family, it is unfair to expect them to suddenly make do without the modest extras they have come to appreciate. Rather, go ahead and work your regular job while growing your business opportunity. This will thwart you from having to give up after a few unproductive months with maxed out credit cards. Growing a business takes time, and if you engage friends and family, you will probably be able to do so a lot sooner. Certainly, this should not mean that you try to sell your dietary supplements that are part of the business you are building at every family get-together. Instead, you may be able to involve some family members in the business end itself. Do you need help with taxes? Maybe an uncle is good at doing them! Do you have questions about licenses and insurance? If you have a stay at home dad who is prepared to do some work in exchange for a bit of money, these headaches could be taken away from you. In short, it is unusual for an entrepreneur to make all the money by her or himself from the basement, yet plentiful is the entrepreneur who - with the help of friends and family - succeeded! Your business opportunity needs publicity, however there is more to advertising than paying for a three by five ad in the local rag. Instead, attend trade shows, hand out flyers, print up business cards (not the free ones that carry another company's logo on the back) and network with other entrepreneurs. Do not stay home when you are trying to build a business, but instead go to where the business world is situated and get out the word! This ensures that you will truly create the most of your business opportunity without having to use money you might not yet have earned on costly advertisements that might not be as effective as you had hoped.

Advice for setting up an internet business at home

Having spent many hours researching the Internet, I was amazed to discover that there is an incredible variety of opportunities for creating a home based business. Consistently looking for the key to conquer this vast possibility there are some points to consider if you are really serious and want success. Always remember, you are in control of your destiny. If you are an Internet “newbie” or even a seasoned user, before you begin this journey there is some information you should consider. Work is an integral part of our lives and when you are involved in an occupation which creates interest and excitement each day success will follow. A good attitude is a reflection of you. Whether your communication is personal or written, a positive attitude will always create a winner. As there are several options available, research the type of work which you think will suit your situation, personality and income requirements. • Approach with care. As this is the entry into a business, preparation and research are required. An unlimited number of offers promise thousands of dollars each day with only a few of hours work coupled with very little input. Anything worth doing has a preparation factor. Foundations set in stone last the test of time. The amount of success is a measure of the dedication and consistency devoted to the project. This varies from person to person as the reliance is based on work ethic and dedication. • Check your relevant government business website. These sites are very informative and in fact list all the information necessary to set up a small business, including all requirements and regulations. • Decide whether you want to just make some cash to supplement your income or create a lifestyle working from home. There are many different aspects to consider, this decision is a personal choice. • There are many ways to create a very profitable internet business without having a website. Why not join the hundreds of people who make good money typing at home. Surveys, data entry etc., research the many opportunities available. Mystery shopping is a fun way to make some cash. Imagine being paid for ‘retail therapy’. Advertising is a multi-billion industry and the key to business today. Major companies actually pay people to evaluate service, quality, product value, etc. Take part in forums either online or in person (if you suffer from the loneliness of working alone this may be for you, as you can sit-in on a group evaluating product of varying types). Seriously there are many ways to make money using the Internet. Remember consistency and dedication is the key. • If you have a website or want to create a website there are many people associated with the Internet who will point you in the right direction and assist you with your choices. Having a website gives you a shop front to the Internet so expanding your horizons. Join Affiliate Programs which will give you full access to a number of opportunities. Being an Affiliate allows you to choose the type of products you wish to advertise and the companies with which you associate. Affiliate Marketing is a system of revenue sharing between two websites. The Affiliate Site (you) provides free advertising for an e-commerce company and the e-commerce company rewards you based on performance either by sales, clicks, customer interest or a combination of all. You will be associated with reputable companies who use common “Banks” which pay consistently and efficiently. • Write articles. The Internet is most widely used for information. Everyone has a great thirst for knowledge and the world is always on the hunt for information on everything and anything. Whatever is your chosen topic of interest you can be sure there will be someone who can benefit by your information or experience. Australia is very much behind the world in relation to the use of the Internet and there are opportunities to be taken. Remember, the game of life is like football. You have to tackle your problems, block your fears, and score your points when you get the opportunity. Give it a go there is really more to gain than there is to lose. Don’t listen to the knockers and be prepared to be consistent. You are starting a business, do a realistic plan both personal and financial, the good thing is that there is always someone who is willing to help if you are prepared to listen and learn. Make the decision, your business must be either part-time or full-time, not anytime. Internet marketing and the dream of having a home based business is a reality you are playing on the world stage, your life can become recession proof and you can achieve all you are prepared to work towards. To quote the renowned Dr Tom Barrett “The most surprising aspect of success is how deceptively simple it is.”

They are trying to find a way to earn additional money while still being able to spend quality time with their family. There are several ways to do this, however it depends on your skills and how much time and effort you are willing to put into a program. If you can develop a plan for promoting your business even before you own one, it can make a significant difference in your success.

How to choose your product lineup product selection criteria for your ebiz

The Internet has come a long way – a few years ago, it provided an extremely limited selling venue. Only the most daring buyers ventured online to make purchases. “Today, nearly anything that can be sold can be sold online,” asserts online business advisor Ana Rincon, of OnlineBusiness. About. “Even the most conservative shoppers think nothing of buying a complete set of furniture over the Internet.” Asking the Right Questions With almost unlimited options to choose from, how do you, as an Online Seller, select the right product offerings? What factors should you consider? Rincon recommends asking five specific questions before determining what merchandise to sell: • Can I be profitable with this product? You need to know, not just the cost of sourcing an item, but the total cost of selling it, because some items have hidden expenses involved in selling them. Packaging, shipping, storing, marketing, and maintaining listings for your wares are all a part of the total price of selling. • What’s the demand for this product? Before you sell an item, you need to know if anyone is searching for it online. There are a number of research tools you can use to determine if there’s sufficient demand for your goods: o Google and Yahoo! both have Keyword Tools that show you how much people are bidding on keywords and how many people are searching for your item. o EBay’s active and completed auctions give you an indication of how many people are looking for an item, how much competition you have, and how much people are willing to pay for your item. Note: Many new sellers want to source high-demand “hot” products – but these often produce too much competition to leave room for good profits. Finding medium-demand, niche areas is a more stable option than chasing down every “hot” product on the market. • What purpose does this product serve? Every item plays a different role in your overall selection. Some have lower margins but are easier to sell or generate more traffic and are, therefore, worth carrying. • How complicated is this product to sell? The time and effort you put into selling a product is part of your total profitability equation. Customizable items may have high margins, but if you can only produce a few because it takes too long, the profits may not justify the hours and energy you’d invest. Many items also have unique parameters. Some require detailed explanations and diagrams or necessitate a greater amount of customer service. Others, such as perishables, have special storage and shipping needs. These extra tasks can add up to a lot of your time and need to be taken into account. Before investing in a product, it’s critical you consider how well it will do online. Look at whether you can be profitable with an item, and whether or not that profit justifies the workload that selling it demands. Says Rincon, “What you sell is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in your eBiz. The online companies that excel are the ones that take time to ensure they have a successful product mix.”

Online business vs. brick and mortar business

Building Confidence Your customers are looking for convenient ways to shop, but they have to feel secure in the process. Online businesses are responsible for protecting customer privacy. It is not enough to keep your customers safe and secure, you have to constantly communicate it to them. Posting your Privacy statement on your site conveniently is a good start, but there is more. Explain your customers what is done to keep their information secure. Assure them that the information they provide you is neither shared nor sold with a third party. Describe the technologies in the background ensuring customer safety. Give details, without getting too technical, about how encryption technology works. When you put in plain words the security measures you take your customers will appreciate it and they are more likely to trust you. Dealing With The Extra Space Now that you don’t have to physically store every product you want to sell online, you can increase your virtual inventory without increasing your rent. You can offer a larger variety of products increasing your customer base. If you are a manufacturer, you can offer drop shipping your products for other businesses. (Drop shipping is the concept of the manufacturer-shipping product directly to the consumer instead of shipping to a wholesaler.) If you are a retailer, you can have products drop shipped to your customers directly. Location Location Location Brick-and-mortal retail is all about location. The right location can make or break your business. The same is true for online business, except it is virtual location that matters. Your online business relies on store visitors just the same as a brick-and-mortar business. Online businesses get most of their visitors through the search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The better position you have the more traffic your site will receive. On the Internet, traffic is everything. Price The bigger market presents you with more opportunities, but it doesn’t come without a price. The fierce competition dictates competitive prices. You have to be able to set the right price for your product that allots for a reasonable profit margin while maintaining your competitive pricing structure. Many people that shop online are more price conscious than brick-and-mortar shoppers.
