Calendar for businesses

For most people each day is just like the last, with the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. For busy people time flies fast but for some, each day is a constant waiting in emptiness. When the calendar was not yet introduced people count days by tally just like a prisoner’s tally on the dungeon wall. Luckily today, there is no more need to carve lines on the wall just to keep up with days. Calendars are now available to help us carry on with each passing day. As every new year starts you would need to dispose of your old calendar and buy a new one. As they say, out with the old, in with the new. Calendars have been indispensable to many people since they were first used. They help keep tracks of appointments and special dates. For business owners, they can give out calendars to their customers each year as part of their marketing strategy. Nevertheless, some businesses are concern with the cost of printing a calendar especially if it involves a lot of color. With the printing technology today, a business owner need not worry about the cost of printing a calendar anymore. There are machines and technologies available nowadays that make calendar printing faster, easier and more affordable. So when designing your calendar ask the following question: how many colors will you utilize? What pictures will you use? How much is your budget? Answering these questions is important because it will tell you how to approach your calendar design more effectively. A professional can also help you in the designing process. They can tell you what design fits your image and your budget. Remember that people will see your calendar for a long time so making a good impression is very important. Thus, when considering the overall look and feel of your calendar, design it with utmost care. Do not overdue the graphics. If you have a logo, use it in the calendar. Full color photos are always a good idea and unless you know what you are doing, it is better not to design your art work. And when it is time to print your calendar, make sure that you are dealing with a reputable and knowledgeable company. Remember that calendars are a good way to attract customers especially if your calendar is unique and attractive. It can help build good relationship with your current and new customers. So take advantage of this opportunity to keep customers and attract prospects.

5 Easy ways to create great info products

So you've decided to start publishing an e-newsletter, or you'd like to develop a Special Report as an added-value for your customers, or maybe you've even decided to teach a teleclass or a seminar as a way to bring prospects into your business. So now you have to decide what you’re going to write or speak about. So just how do you come up with the content? Well, you can start with looking at the knowledge you have that could truly benefit your prospects and customers. What do you know a lot about, that your customers and prospects don't? What information could you provide that could help them to improve their business, or make them happier, or show them a different way to do something, or provide them with tips on how to buy or use the product or service you provide? The key is finding out what information your prospects and customers need or want most. Asking them is the easiest way to find out, and it is a great way to generate content for your info products. If you have made arrangements to speak to a group, ask the person coordinating your talk if there is a way to survey the group as to their most important questions relative to your line of business. For example, if you offer Wellness Coaching Services and you are speaking to a group of corporate executives, find out what their burning questions are related to wellness. In a corporate environment, they should be able to quickly and easily compile this information via an email sent out to all employees who have been invited to your talk. Knowing that your goal is to speak directly to their concerns, they will probably be more likely to attend as well. When you get the results of your survey, look for common or recurring questions and focus your talk on the answers to these questions. Save any remaining questions as topics for your e-newsletter. You can use this as an incentive to get attendees to register for your e-newsletter by saying at the end of your talk “If I didn’t cover your most pressing question, I invite you to register for my free e-newsletter where I will address all remaining questions.” Here are five more ways to generate ideas and content: 1. Add a page to your web site where visitors can submit questions. You could title it "What is your most pressing question about [insert your topic of expertise here]. Make sure the page is visible and accessible from all of your web pages. Consider promoting this service throughout your web site to drive people to that page to submit a question. 2. Purchase the domain name "askYOURNAME" (where "YOURNAME" is your first and last name) and publicize it as a service and great place for consumers to get their most pressing questions, in your subject area, answered. Registering domains is cheap, and you can always point it to a page in your existing web site if you don't want to pay additional web hosting fees. 3. Include an email address, or web page address, in your e-newsletter or any other form of regular communication, inviting your prospects and clients to submit their questions. Odds are if one prospect or client has a question, there are many others who also have the same question. 4. If you do presentations or seminars already, hand out a survey at the end to find out what attendees liked best about your presentation (it's always a good idea to get feedback anyway), and to find out if there are other relevant areas they would like to see you speak on, or if they have questions they'd like answered. 5. Keep your eyes open and your customers in mind when you read trade publications, magazines or newspapers. If you come across something you think would be of interest to your prospects and customers, share it. Is something going on in the news that is relevant to your product or service? Write about it. In addition to using this information to drive newsletter or presentation content, you can also use it to develop articles and content for your website, or to write Special Reports, Tips Sheets, or How-To Guides you can sell or use for marketing to your prospects and customers. Top 5 reasons for buying a used trade show booth

You've done a couple of trade shows, rented a couple of spaces in exhibition halls, and admit it, you're hooked. You love the excitement of the crowds, of meeting your clients up close and in person. Hey, you don't even mind your aching feet! And you've been thinking that you'd like to do more trade shows and want a booth of your own. The trouble is you can't really afford to go all out yet and have a brand spanking new booth designed. Your bottom line is saying no, but your heart and intuition are saying yes. Buying a used trade show booth is the answer to your dilemma! Which is also the first reason for buying a used booth. Money! Yes, you can save quite a bit of money by purchasing a used one. Used trade show booths can be big bargains and can be found to fit most any budget, no matter how small. The second reason you should consider buying a used trade show booth is that the affordability factor means that the money you save can be put into other trade show event promotional items. Face it, people not only want free stuff from you at a trade show, they expect it. And the more money you can spend on your promo items, the better! A third reason for buying a used trade show booth is that if you plan to do a lot of trade shows, it only makes sense to own your own booth-for the same reason it makes more sense to buy a house than to rent an apartment. You make your investment in a used trade show booth and it's yours to keep forever-or sell to someone else when you're ready to upgrade to a brand new booth. The money you've saved in booth rentals will go a long way toward your purchase of the booth of your dreams. Fourth, buying a used trade show booth not only lowers your financial risks, it lowers your stress levels as well! Financially, you've invested only what you can spend, which has pleased your bottom line. And because you own your trade show booth, you can relax, knowing exactly what you have and not having the stress of worrying if the booth rental will be on time, up to snuff, etc. This means you have more time and energy to put into other important things-like packing great clothes to take with you to the trade show! Finally, the fifth reason you should consider buying a used trade show booth is that it allows you to learn the ups and downs of trade show events and work out all the bugs in your trade show exhibition program without having to make a major investment. This makes it possible to please yourself, your accountant and your customers, while learning if trade show events are truly profitable and worth the effort for your business.

Hermits need not apply

Are you too shy to strike up conversations with other people? Hmm… What about email, surely sending someone an email isn’t terribly daunting, right? It is? Well, then you’re in the wrong business. Network marketing means just what it says. You are a network marketer. That means you need to network, and if you don’t do that most important thing, you’ll never succeed. Traffic exchanges are a good place to start honing the art of becoming a good mentor. In most exchanges, when you get a referral into the program, you are notified by the site’s admin. This is great because you can take immediate action to assure that you remain on your recruit’s mind. If you can’t do it immediately, be sure to respond to this alert within 24 hours. Send your referral a private message, if this feature is available at the traffic exchange. If not, send an email, an IM, or even call them on the telephone. I know this isn’t everyone’s choice, but it works even better than mail. Yet, if you insist on sending a written messge of some type, there are dos and don’ts. In your welcome message, do be sure to thank the person for joining you in the program. Point out places where new members will find help regarding the site, such as to a tutorial or an FAQ section. Tell the person that you will be happy to help, if he or she still has questions, and provide your contact information. The more ways you give people to reach you, the better. Give them your email address, your IM address, and even your telephone number. If you’re reticent about doing that, maybe your cell phone number would seem better. Just remember, you can always change a number, but most folks who call you are just looking for guidance in their own online careers. They’re in search of a beacon. You can be that beacon for them, if you don’t abuse the privilege. Sponsors who send an ad for another program in their messages are spamming, pure and simple. Don’t do it. Aside from it being against the terms of service in a majority of exchanges, it’s just rude. Offer help and guidance and that person will probably join your program anyway, just because you’ve taken your time to be helpful. I can’t tell you how many emails I’ve had, telling me that, “I joined Program XYZ, and my upline sponsor said she’d call, but never has,” or “I never knew I had an upline sponsor in XYZ.” Well, it’s a shame you weren’t that person’s upline sponsor in that traffic exchange, huh? You probably will be in others, if you just give him or her a little support. It’s a cold, cruel World Wide Web out there, folks. Be kind to others, and you are sure to succeed.
